[jira] [Created] (CB-5210) utc_offset is different for Android and iOS in the same timezone

Ewan Summers created CB-5210:
--------------------------------

Summary: utc_offset is different for Android and iOS in the same timezone
                 Key: CB-5210
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CB-5210
             Project: Apache Cordova
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: Android, iOS
    Affects Versions: 3.0.0
         Environment: iOS 6.0.1, Android 4.2.2
            Reporter: Ewan Summers

If you set both phones to the EST timezone (or any negative timezone) you'll notice that the values for utc_offset in a call to navigator.globalization.getDatePattern don't match for iOS and Android.

However I briefly tested with positive offsets and they appeared to be the same for both devices.
