1.9 compilation
Where can i get the 1.9 binary files?
if they are not available how do i compile the source?

Nope... I was directly connected. I tried copying the cent from an older
checkout but that's what led to the error posted. I will get to the bottom
of it one way or another.

Are you behind a proxy or firewall?
It SHOULD autodownload it. if not, just restore (locally) the
checkstyle cent which I deleted due to apache lgpl rules.

The build seems to be broken... something to do with checkstyle. I'll be
looking into it soon.

I have the same problem. The directory on link
http://jakarta.apache.org/builds/jakarta-poi/nightly/ has been updated
11/02/2003 but there is nothing in there.
