with HIVE-24241 SharedWorkOptimizer could further merge branches for some queries (ex: [query32|https://github.com/apache/hive/blob/db895f374bf63b77b683574fdf678bfac91a5ac6/ql/src/test/results/clientpositive/perf/tez/query32.q.out#L118-L163] )

...but a little `is not null` difference prevents it from proceeding.
