Perhaps obvious question, running 2 slide instances in same Tomcat server

If I have 2 slide instances running, and both are pointing to separate
stores (oracle), do I have to

name them differently in their domain.xml ?  ie, does the namespace or the
xml toplevel node name in that

file need to be unique ?  Their stores are unique already
