This sounds like a great idea. Anything to get it fixed.
Or call it 1.1.0b (hey, M$ can get away with releasing SQL SP6a!)
Don't forget, managers and people making decisions about whether to use
SVN are probably going to start by browsing round a repos... If they
install 1.1.0 they are then going to get an immediate unscheduled
lunch-break!

How about some new binaries with version 1.1.0.11211 (just the patch
applied) ? That will solve the problem without releasing a 1.1.1
