What about POST & Apache + Jakarta

Hi,
i've seen in the FAQ there was a problem using POST methods & Tomcat 
+ Apache, but i haven't seen any response. I've seen a post dealing 
with the same problem but no response about a work around, patch.

In fact i've exactly the same problem running Apache 1.3.11 _ Tomcat 
3.0 mod_jserv over ssl.mod_ssl doesn't seem to be the criminal....
Is is an architecture problem or is it a general one.
Any idea, clue & comments welcomed...
