[jira] [Commented] (STEVE-49) Credentials need to be explained and log-out needs to be explored

Tom Barber commented on STEVE-49:
---------------------------------

It appears to me, that whilst you login, the real info is in the url ID that you use to hit Steve. As a potential short term workaround, I think you should be able to crack out the vote link in a private window/incognito window or whatever and cast your vote. Once you shut the window your session will be killed anyway.

> The method of managing credentials needs to be explained on the front page.
> How are credentials managed? Cookies? Is it safe to use the web tool on a shared computer? How can credentials be erased? Since there is no log-out function, are credentials stored "forever"?
> Perhaps a log-out function needs to be implemented.
