Hi Christian,

Thanks for adding this.

My git version is '1.9.4.msysgit.2'. I created the patch using 'git format-patch origin/master'. To apply the command is 'git apply <patch-file>'.

Please let me know if there is any other way that is followed. I will create my next patch likewise.
