[jira] [Created] (SQOOP-1563) When using Sqoop export command connecting to Oracle DB, the table name is case sensitive.

Ramesh Mandalapu created SQOOP-1563:
---------------------------------------

Summary: When using Sqoop export command connecting to Oracle DB, the table name is case sensitive.
                 Key: SQOOP-1563
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SQOOP-1563
             Project: Sqoop
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: sqoop2-api
    Affects Versions: 1.4.4
            Reporter: Ramesh Mandalapu
            Priority: Minor

When using Sqoop export command connecting to Oracle DB, the table name is case sensitive because the Oracle DB saves the metadata in uppercase. This should be made case-insensitive so no one needs to remember that the tablename must be typed in uppercase.
