RV: How to choose the quality of a PDF?

Hi,
When I use Fop, I use the default configuration for generating the PDF.
I think something is wrong because I obtain a 5MB of PDF for only 40
pages, with a little photograph on each one. The time to render each
page is almost 5 seconds. Can anyone tell me if there exists any
possibility of reducing these numbers and how?It is very important and
urgent and any help would be very appreciated. Thank you in advance.
