[jira] Commented: (AXIS2-758) Generated xmlbeans code is not
handling elementFormDefault correctly
[ http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AXIS2-758?page=comments#action_12424380 ]
Kent Tong commented on AXIS2-758:
---------------------------------
Sorry, actually it is not working yet. Somehow for the FileService above it seems to work, but the request message is not right:
<uploadRequest xmlns="http://foo.com/FileService/schema">
<id xmlns="">f01</id>
<file>R0lGODlh...</file>
</uploadRequest>
For the <id> element it is correct, but it is incorrect for the <file> element.
When I try it on another WSDL (SecureService.wsdl as attached), the request message is:
<addRequest xmlns="http://foo.com/schema">
<i>4</i>
<j>5</j>
</addRequest>
Which is incorrect.

> Components: databinding

> Attachments: build.xml, FileClient.java, FileService2.wsdl, FileServiceSkeleton.java

> In the <schema> in my WSDL file (as attached), no matter elementFormDefault is set to unqualified or qualified, the request SOAP message is the same:
> <?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>
> <soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">
> <soapenv:Header />
> <soapenv:Body>
> <uploadRequest xmlns="http://foo.com/FileService/schema">
> <id>f01</id>
> <file>R0lGODlhQwJ...</file>
> </uploadRequest>
> </soapenv:Body>
> </soapenv:Envelope>
> Obviously this is incorrect when elementFormDefault="unqualified". Probably as a result, the generated skeleton works only when elementFormDefault="qualified". Otherwise if will fail to find an unqualified <id> or <file> child element.
