Our builds started failing when Yetus no longer considered one of the releases we were using "current" (AVRO-2550). To avoid this in the future, [~busbey] suggested that we use a script like [this one from the HBase project|https://github.com/apache/hbase/blob/master/dev-support/jenkins-scripts/cache-apache-project-artifact.sh] which falls back to archive.a.o when it can't find a release via the mirroring system.
