using xerces c parser and sql server 2000 sqlxml

Hi. I have been trying to solve this problem for 2
days and I was wondering if you could help. I would
like to use the xerces parser in a simple c++ program
to talk to a sql server 2000 database. Microsoft SQL
Server 2000 has the capability to send back resultsets
as an xml file. Whenever I use the parse() function
of xerces, it fails to parse the xml file. If I take
the EXACT same xml file and copy it to a place on the
web server and use that URL instead, xerces parses
everything fine. I can also get it to parse the doc.
locally. However, using sql server 2000 sqlxml, I get
the following from the ErrorHandler:
The error column is 0
The line number is 0

I did not see anything else of use from the
ErrorHandler. Any ideas? Also, I could not find a
xerces user group mailing list so if someone could
send me that I would be glad to post this question
there instead of the dev list. Thanks for any help.
