Different issue...

For those who saw my original message about the build problems, I read the
archives on the web site and found out how those problems were fixed. I have a
different issue. The build seems to have worked, except that it doesn't show up
as an archive for AIX. Using ar tv libxerces... returns that the library isn't
a valid archive file. Is it something to do with the way it was built? Should I
try building it with different options?

Again, my platform is AIX 4.3.3 and the compiler is VisualAge 5.0
