Using commons validator

Hi all. I'm sorry to ask this question, but the website docs are not
updated.
1) How is the basic usage of commons validator?
2) Do you have any tool that helps displaying the form information filled on
the screen?
2) Do you have any api call to populate the bean from the parameters sent by
the client?

Thanks.

You might try the mailing list archives. As you might imagine, this isn't
the first time the question has been asked. ;-)

Sorry I don't. At some point the docs need improving and hopefully
I'll get time to do it. The only thing that might help you is looking
at some of the test cases to see how they work. If you're asking about
alternatives, then the only thing I can suggest is google. Sorry.

I'm using it standalone. Actually, we are evaluating form validation tools
to use in our application.
Do you have something to suggest?

Sorry the docs are really bad - just a small paragraph on the
Validator main page about usage.

I your're using it standalone, then theres nothing to help you. If
you're using it with struts then there is some docs on the struts
site:

http://struts.apache.org/struts-doc-1.2.8/userGuide/dev_validator.html
