[jira] [Created] (DRILL-4565) Document entire set of Drill config properties including default values

Paul Rogers created DRILL-4565:
----------------------------------

             Summary: Document entire set of Drill config properties including default values
                 Key: DRILL-4565
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DRILL-4565
             Project: Apache Drill
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: Documentation
            Reporter: Paul Rogers
            Priority: Minor

We should prepare a file or web page that lists all Drill properties, their defaults and an explanation. The developers should provide this file which we can then include in the documentation.

Here’s an example from Hadoop: https://hadoop.apache.org/docs/r2.7.1/hadoop-project-dist/hadoop-hdfs/hdfs-default.xml. It isn’t very pretty, but, as a Hadoop newbie, I find I keep returning to it again and again.

For Drill, it might be handy to include:

* Name
* Start-up or runtime option
* Description
* Default value
* Environment variable (if any)
