Using POST action in JSP

Can anyone tell me briefly the diff between using the get, post actions in
forms or using the <jsp: forward page ="yourpage" /> and which is better?

I am using jsp:forward currently but i want to use Post method instead.
besides using <form method = post action ="yournextjsppage"> what else do i
need to get through?

Darren
