   Hello @suddjian, I would advocate for adding editing dashboard description to the UI and to APIs. There are subsequent use cases that could be related:
   1. Exporting dashboards list and related descriptions via APIs to integrate in external 3rd parties such as data catalog tools.
   2. Implementing in future development some search bar UI to find dashboards based on description.
   3. Allow to display description in UI list or in dashboard page.
   
   For companies and organisations with a larger dashboard base, this seems at some point necessary to provide description directly with dashboard (same goes with metrics, datasource columns etc.).
