When the DefaultRequestDirector tries to establish a route via a proxy to a https target, registered protocol interceptors aren't being called in the createTunnelToTarget method.

The bug has been fixed in SVN trunk. Could you please re-test your code with the latest SVN snapshot and let me know if that solved the problem for you?
