Hi Andrei,

As mentioned in my email to your email thread to OSGi list , the
@ConsumerType annotation is not available as yet and it is just being made
to rfc. In majority, the interfaces are @ProviderType.

Besides, for legacy code where the interfaces have not used the annotation,
I would prefer the assumption of the interfaces are not being implemented
by consumers, hence they should have the provider type.

Once the rfc is made to spec, the tool should be enhanced to take into
consideration of the new annotations. I will mark the jira as invalid at
the time being.
