[jira] [Commented] (ACCUMULO-3104) AccumuloInputFormatIT has no timeout

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ACCUMULO-3104?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=14126285#comment-14126285 ]

Mike Drob commented on ACCUMULO-3104:
-------------------------------------

I think it makes sense to worry about global timeout values (like when using Jeknins) instead of continuously tweaking individual values. We don't have a good way of estimating how long a given test should take, so we end up drawing (and re-drawing) arbitrary lines in the sand, which doesn't benefit us long term.
