SMTPAppender changing message subject

Just a quick question, but is it possible to modify the subject of a message
sent by the SMTPAppender based on a MDC value, or the log level or the
thread or something?

I filter my email based on subject and from and such, would be good to be
able to show the messages as "log4j email - FATAL" or "log4j email - ERROR"
depending on the event that triggered the email.

If this doesn't exist, I may investigate doing this myself, but thought I'd
check if it does, or anyone else already has made the modification.
