Minutes: JDO TCK Conference Call Friday October 9, 11:30 am Pacific Daylight Time (PDT)

Posted by Craig L Russell <cr...@oracle.com>.
Attendees: Michael Boushen, Craig Russell

NOTE: Next week’s meeting is canceled. The next meeting will be October 23, 2015 9AM Pacific
Agenda:

1. JDO 3.1: Need to go through change lists in JIRA for 3.1 RC1 and 3.1 to prepare JCP Change Log

2. New comments on JIRA JDO-747 "Behavior of delete() with multiple concurrent Transactions" https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JDO-747

StateTransitions and StateTransitionsReturnedObjects are the two basic tests to look at. And another test that implements the scenario that you are looking for: optimistic transaction that finds a deleted object that it already deleted, and recovering the transaction so it can be committed.

Still need spec updates and implementation. Need to decide which release this goes into.
