Lucene package

Could the author of the Lucene package add a CVS id and an author line
as it is the case for (I hope) all other source file? And also adjust
the coding according to the convention used here at Cocoon.

TIA

Giacomo

  hi,
checked in all sources, components, xsp, etc..
removed lucene component, removed old webapp/search/*.xsp files.
hope that's okay

the index for the doc is about 2.74 MB, it takes some minutes to
generate it,
you will have to generate the index FIRST, see the search/welcome, and then
try search/create..

i didn't thought about pre-generating, yet...

look forward to hear about usage...

Way cool. Go for it. Many thanks.

Personally, I am looking forward to see your changes! I was trying out
what is already checked in and it looks promising.

How about adding pre-generated search index to the webapp? :)

hi,
i fixed the indention, and added $id$, and author line.
Moreover I split the lucene package into search, and crawler package.
I implemented a SearchGenerator, and some xsp in the webapp/search
directory.

I have adapted the cocoon.roles, the documentation/sitemap.xmap, written
some SearchGenerator documentation.

Then there is searching for the cocoon documentation available at the
cocoon webapp site.

I will commit this on sunday into the src HEAD branch, if this okay.

bye bernhard

How about both: Id on top of the file, and Revision/Date in Javadoc?

PS I do remember myself asking same question on this list. Nobody had an
opinion at the moment ;)

I don't know of a standard, so my proposal is to use $Id$ as well
because it is mostly complete concerning information inserted into the
checked in files.

Well, this was the right time to remind me that I forgot to do it myself
to the code I contributed :)

However, I found out that there seems to be no consistency between us in
CVS keywords. Wouldn't it be the case to agree on a consistent way to
insert version tags in the source? Basically someone is using $Id$
(including myself) while others seems to use "CVS $Revision$ $Date$". Is
there already a standard that I'm missing or should we come up with one?

Ciao,
