Setting up soap listener on Apache - JServ

I am trying to set up a soap listener on Apache using JServ. I have
seen the comments about configuring it using Tomcat, but I have not come
across anything that indicates how to do it using JServ. I believe we
are running version 1.1.2 of jserv.

I have read in Tomcat about setting the context parameters in the
web.xml file (or something like that). Is there a configuration of some
sort for JServ?

Thanks

Hi Rich, can you point me to where the comments are for configuring soap
with Tomcat?

Thanks,
Paul

Please try to make Tomcat work with Soap. JServ does not really support the
newer 'Server Pages' and Servlet architectures which you will need for
SOAP. I also started with JServ in the servlet world and then switched to
Tomcat when it become 'reasonably' stable (sometime last year).

p.s. please read the SOAP documentation on how to use it with Tomcat and
also use 1st the specified version. When you managed to do that then you
could try later versions. Please also read the Tomcat documentation and try
to get its samples working 1st. Sorry, but we all had to learn this kind of
stuff. There are also many, many good Java/Servlet books out there. SOAP
sits on the top of many, many Java technologies. You might also try to join
Sun's SERVLET interest group.
