I'm not sure what (if anything) governs voting rights on the issues,
but in any case we don't really use the votes in prioritizing. We
tend to rely on posts to this list a lot more.

I could write a monograph on the pitfalls of voting, self-selecting
electorates, and the difficulties of weighing different people's
prioritizations of different issues... But merely saying that I could
write it might be enough to make clear what it would say if I did :-).

Glad to hear it!

Which docs did you see? Running 'svn help checkout', for example,
doesn't indicate that --verbose would be supported.

Nope, no problem, I understand (I read those comments on the bug report) ---
but since nobody had "voted" for it, (I know understand why) I wanted to
ensure it was at least at the annoyance level. Thanks, enough said.

Okay. "Annoyance" is about the level we've been treating it as, too,
but not a 1.0 showstopper. We have to draw the line somewhere :-),
I'm sure you understand. 1.1 won't be so far in the future...

Ok, I'll keep posting 1509 here. :-)

It was an annoyance in shared (group owned/managed) Gumps:

Yeah, that's true, that is why I commented it out. But see Chapter 8, 'svn
switch' of the M$ Help. Maybe I was just reading what I wanted to read. When
folks what 'debugging output' (like why am I failing w/ a perms error, 1509
;-) I want to turn on "more output". I was hoping svn --verbose
checkout|update would be there.
