[jira] Commented: (IBATIS-22) Specify Query Timeout
[ http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/IBATIS-22?page=comments#action_12359368 ]
Jonathan Burstein commented on IBATIS-22:
-----------------------------------------
Having a queryTimeout attribute on statements (much along the lines of fetchSize) seems like a very reasonable thing to have (and pretty simple to do). Forcing the use of a datasource proxy to set timeouts forces people to jump through a lot of hoops, and precludes the possibility of having different timeout for different statements.

> There seems to be no current way to specify timeouts for select statements. I did see a message in the sf forum that using driver properties is a possible workaround. But it would be really nice to have a per statement timeout.
