mod_perl with threaded Apache (eg Apache2)

Is anyone working on an upgrade to mod_perl to
handle Apache 2.0b with thread support?

If so, do you want my help?

If not, does anyone want to help me?

Never mind the progress he made _during_ his presentation...

I think some guy who's name is Doug is working on it :)
But seriously take a look at:
http://perl.apache.org/~dougm/modperl_2.0.html

> If so, do you want my help?

Yes.

Join the cvs mailing list (See http://perl.apache.org/#dev-list),

Get the source http://perl.apache.org/from-cvs/modperl-2.0/ or
http://perl.apache.org/mod_perl_cvs.html and see what was done already.

Basically the plan set by Doug is this:

Step 1: Doug, the main architect to start and complete the new skeleton of
the ship. Some occasional snowboarding to get the inspiration.

Step 2: The crowd of skilled carpenters to start working on the deck
and masts. Chefs to take over the kitchen. Doug to go snowboarding
fulltime.

Step 3: Rule the world and spend all the time snowboarding.
