   This issue was reviewed as part of the JIRA-migrated backlog triage (HUDI-8224).
   
   **Findings: partially covered - and the ticket reads as broader than the actual gap.**
   
   Two validators already exist on `master`:
   
   - `hudi-utilities/src/main/java/org/apache/hudi/utilities/HoodieDataTableValidator.java`
   - `hudi-utilities/src/main/java/org/apache/hudi/utilities/HoodieMetadataTableValidator.java`
   
   So "a table validation tool" is not absent. The linked PR #8035 (`[WIP] Add a MOR table validation tool`) is closed unmerged and carried no JIRA key, so nothing landed from that attempt.
   
   What does appear absent is the specific capability the body names: detecting that "clean and compaction should kick in at expected cadence on MOR table". That is a *behaviour over time* assertion, quite different in kind from the structural checks the existing validators perform.
   
   Recommend re-scoping this ticket to that gap explicitly, so it is not re-triaged as "no validator exists" - and so whoever picks it up starts from the existing tools rather than a blank page.
