32K limit!?

Hello:
    I'm sure I'm doing something wrong, but I'm new to Xalan and I don't
know where is the problem. I have a DocBook xml file which I want to publish
in PDF. I use Xalan to transform it to FO. The problem is the output file is
not the whole source document, it gets trimmed near the 32768 bytes limit
with no error message. Any idea?
