I think you are misunderstanding how this works. JMeter only fills in blanks
in your HTTP Requests parameter fields - it doesn't override. If you want all
HTTP Requests in your test to share the same "DOMAIN" field, leave them blank,
then create an HTTP Request Defaults at a higher level (say, ThreadGroup), with
the DOMAIN field filled in. This should accomplish what you desire.
