[jira] [Commented] (OPENNLP-1368) Allow OpenNLP 2.x to use OpenNLP 1.x models

Jeff Zemerick commented on OPENNLP-1368:
----------------------------------------

Since we are releasing OpenNLP 2.x and it will support OpenNP 1.x models, the check in BaseModel.java for conflicting major version numbers isn't needed now. The simplest solution is to just remove that check.
