James Taylor resolved PHOENIX-1988.
-----------------------------------
Resolution: Fixed
Already fixed.
> Document INSTR built-in function
> --------------------------------
>
> Key: PHOENIX-1988
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/PHOENIX-1988
> Project: Phoenix
> Issue Type: Sub-task
> Reporter: James Taylor
> Assignee: Naveen Madhire
>
> Last pending task for new built-in function is to add documentation for it so that it appears in our Reference page here: http://phoenix.apache.org/language/functions.html
> That documentation is generated from the following file (which lives in SVN):
> phoenix-docs/src/docsrc/help/phoenix.csv
> See http://phoenix.apache.org/building_website.html for more info.
> Just copy/paste the documentation from another built-in function. Make sure it's classified as a String function (copy/paste SUBSTR function documentation as a template). Note that due to a bug, you'll need to manually remove the generated html files (rm site/publish/language/*.html) before running build.sh in order for them to get regenerated.
> I'd wait to do this until we're closer to a 4.4.1 release, as I'd rather not document this until PHOENIX-1984 is fixed and in a release.
