p4 globalopts [was re p4 change ]
Klara, I guess that you have just installed ant 1.5.3
and that you have the problem with p4change since then
?
I am not sure when globalopts have been introduced in
ant, maybe only in 1.5.3
It gives you the possibility to give extra command
line options, for instance saying which p4 config you
want to use.
globalopts
Specifies global options for perforce to use while
executing the task. These properties should be
concatenated into one string,
such as "-P password -C EUCJIS". Use the command-line
option syntax, NOT the environment variable names. See
the
Perforce Command Reference for details.

Do you do anything smart with -o and -i and stuff like that, or just p4
sync and edit and such?

I've had a lot of trouble using the p4 tasks. They are a wrapper to the
command line p4 executable anyway, so I've had much better success using
the <exec> task and calling p4 directly.

I discovered the problem using 1.5.2, just upgraded to 1.5.3,
how shall I use globalopts then?
