Absolutely,

Can you send me, via private email and ccying Jan L:

* npm own commands that I need to execute
* Updates to the repo copy in my GitHub to redirect people? Maybe put a single issue saying repo has moved?

As long as it’s approved by Apache, which now owns nano, happy to do whatever is required. Just give me concrete, approved, instructions and I’ll get right on it.

Also happy to have a chat with whoever is maintaining it, explaining why certain decisions where made and explaining how things work, if need be,

Many thanks,

Take care,
Nuno

Hi Carlos,

Glynn has done some great working on Nano. But the repo has moved to here
https://github.com/apache/couchdb-nano
I'm not sure if we have done any releases yet. I think we need access to
the npm package. Nuno could you give Glynn Bird and myself access to the
npm package and we would then be able to push a new release.

Cheers

Hi,I copied almost all the issues from the old repository to the new one. There were a few issues that did not make sense to port, so they remained there with a message for the author to close them.
I cannot close issues on the old repository myself, so we have to wait until the old owner (or an admin) can close those issues.

Posted by William Edney <be...@technicalpursuit.com>.
This is excellent news that Nuno is willing to help to get things moved
over to the official repo - thanks Nuno (and thanks for Nano!!).

It looks like there's currently 13 PRs against dscape/nano. I agree with
Garren that moving those over to apache/couchdb-nano so that they're not
lost is a priority. Let me know if I can help with this as well, Carlos.

Note that the apache/couchdb-nano repo currently already has 1 outstanding
PR against it by my business partner, idearat, that fixes a nasty bug for
when a local variable is undefined. If the owner (Garren?) could merge
this, then we could stop maintaining our own fork - thanks!

Cheers,

- Bill

Re: NanoJS

Hi,
I just submitted my pull request to the new repo. I had to fix the integration tests for uuids, since it was broken.
I'll find some time this week to start looking at the other PRs. Some of them have been waiting since 2015, so I guess I'll contact the authors before moving them.
What about issues reported on the old repository?

Hi Carlos,
You help would be appreciated. I think the first thing would be to move the PR's on dscape/nano to apache/couchdb-nano. Then we can start merging the working PR's in.

Thanks that would be great. In terms of issues they have to go into JIRA
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/COUCHDB which isn't as nice as GH
issues. So it might be better to hold off on moving the issues until we can
enable them on the couchdb-nano repo. Which we hoping to do quite soon.

Ok. I will move those PRs from dscape to the new repo. In case some of them do not apply anymore I'll contact the authors and tell them to look at them.
What to do regarding the issues? Should we move them too?

Hi,
To summarize. I see that there are several pull requests and issues pending for NanoJS and I can volunteer two to three hours a week to have a look at issues and merge pull requests.
