Sending mail to an external address

Dear All,
I have a problem while sending mail to an external address(e.g. abc@yahoo.com) using James.
what settings will be used to achieve it?

What version of James, Java, OS, etc... what problem are you having... what settings have you changed from the default install...log files... etc....
