Heh, I should never say never this early on a Monday morning.
A counter-example has already been provided, so that last sentence
is now deprecated as well.

It should be deprecated.  It is probably one of the top 10 spelling
mistakes by programmers, since it won't be found by a spell checker
and depreciated is a more commonly used word.

An argument can be made that something "has depreciated",
but it is never the case that something "has been depreciated".
