Standardized Logging in Pluto

Hi All,

I was working on both Pluto and J2 this weekend and it appears that Pluto has no standard logging facility (at least not in the classes I was in).  I have started using commons logging within Pluto.  Does everyone agree that commons-logging is the way to go?  If not I will remove all my logging enhancements before committing anything back into Pluto.
