> Provide additional information if user does not exist
> -----------------------------------------------------
>
> Key: NIFI-5206
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NIFI-5206
> Project: Apache NiFi
> Issue Type: Improvement
> Components: Core UI
> Affects Versions: 1.6.0
> Reporter: Mark Bean
> Priority: Major
>
> When a user attempts to access a NiFi which the user has not been added as a user, an "Insufficient Permissions" error results. This error should only occur if the user exists but is not in the 'view the user interface' policy. For non-existent users, a customizable message should be displayed. For example, the NiFi Admin could provide a custom message such as who to contact to be added as a user.
