double allocation failure...

    Hello, what does the next error mean?

*** panic: double allocation failure
SIGABRT 6 (*) abort process
        stackpointer=309abfc8


    How could it be avoided?

    Tomcat 3.2.2 is running as standalone server in an IBM RS/6000 with AIX 4.3.3; the Tomcat server is under a very heavy load [only servlets are running].

    Any help is appreciated.
