[jira] [Resolved] (FALCON-899) Avoid duplicate *.properties files
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FALCON-899?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:all-tabpanel ]
Balu Vellanki resolved FALCON-899.
----------------------------------
Resolution: Not a Problem
The configs used in startup.properties under incubator-falcon/common/src/main/resources/startup.properties are very specific to debug and test-setup. It makes sense to have it separate from the startup.properties under incubator-falcon/src/conf/startup.properties which is used for packaging Falcon. Closing as not a problem.

> Properties files are located under common/ and src/. By having them at two locations, it is possible to introduce errors when dev update one location and forget to update the other, merge these duplicate files to a single location
