Well, you might just as well run native Linux and cage the required Windows stuff in a VM. Life is usually much happier that way. As of now this seems to be a big hack, I really doubt that we found someone who is willing/capable of implement this.

So if NetBeans are aware of a cygwin installation, it should be treated like that too.
