The best way to deal with all such EDB issues is to use *Enstella* [*EDB to PST Conversion Software* |http://www.enstella.com/edb-to-pst-conversion.html]that can help recover all information from even the most heavily corrupted EDB files with ease. There is even a free demo version of the EDB to PST tool that allows exporting upto 25 items from each mailbox/folder to PST file. The EDB to PST Recovery tool from Enstella maintains the folder structure intact and also does not make any alterations to the data in the original EDB file.
