[jira] [Updated] (STORM-1324) Evaluate JStorm backpressure implementaion

Basti Liu updated STORM-1324:
-----------------------------
    Attachment: backpressure_design_document.pdf

Please find the design document for backpressure of JStorm in attchement.
This doc also includes an evaluation of the diff between Storm and JStorm. Any comments are welcome.
Since these two solutions are quite different, if possible, I think it migth be better to have an evaluation first. If we can have a result or get an better solution by combination of the advantage of current two solutions, and start this JIRA in phase 1, that will avoid some rework in phase 2.

> Both storm and jstorm support automatic backpressure.
> The two sound fairly equivalent, but we should talk to see if there are other optimizations needed, especially support for adjusting the backpressure while the topology is live which jstorm currently supports.
