romains last improvements shows a improvement (on the my machine @ work) from 25 seconds to 5 seconds.
Thats already an great improvement, but compared to the ops/seconds we should now have roughly:
HV 6: 874
BV 1.1: 347
BV 2.0: ~260
i will rerun the benchmark later.
[~mbenson] do you have some good ideas for further improvements?
