Running Hadoop Jobs on a chosen machine
Hello, I have to study Oozie for a college project, but I have a big trouble and I'm not sure it is the software I'm looking for.
Is Oozie able to make some Hadoop jobs (let's say an oozie action) run only on machine A (a slave) and not in machine B and machine C? (My cluster has 3 computers A,B and C).
Or all the machines of Oozie's clusters are equal and i have only to rely on the Job Tracker?
Best regards,
Alessio

Hi Mauro,
Yes, Oozie doesn't control which node to submit a job.
It is the job tracker that decides.
Regards,
Mohammad
