[jira] [Created] (SOLR-8379) New admin UI, files don't always show in RHS of screen

Erick Erickson created SOLR-8379:
------------------------------------

Summary: New admin UI, files don't always show in RHS of screen
                 Key: SOLR-8379
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-8379
             Project: Solr
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: UI
    Affects Versions: 5.4, Trunk
            Reporter: Erick Erickson
            Priority: Minor

In the new admin UI, clicking on the "files" link (cloud>>tree>>configs>>some_config_set) and then randomly clicking on files doesn't always show the text of the file. Sometimes it does, sometimes it is just blank and sometimes it's the previous file.

An awful lot of space is eaten up by the info on top like "aversion", "ctime" and the like, is this useful? Or could it be shrunk?

Related: If I select the collection then under that the "files" link this all seems to work fine. But, I cannot see my managed schema. I want to in order to see the fieldTypes I have available, or more accurately the analysis chains associated with them.
