How to cluster web application using long polling

All,

I want to cluster a web application using Apache CXF Continuations to
implement Long Polling.
As suspended continuations are stored in one server, does session
replication in clustering replicate all these continuations to all server
nodes ?
Does a server resume event notify other server nodes to resume/close the
suspended continuations ?

Any ideas how to accomplish the clustering ?
