I was able to reproduce the bug using the steps below:
1. Open office Writer
2. Type in whatever you want within the body of the document
3. Add endnote with character=1
4. Add more text within the body of the document
5. Add endnote with character=2
6. Insert table
7. Type in whatever you want within the body of the table
8. Add endnote automatic should default to 3
9. Actual result = i
