Regarding fix of Bug 64075

Hello,

We had reported a bug regarding "Japanese Shift-JIS string contain some specific character cause text broken at script recording".
The details of the bug can be found in the link below
https://bz.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=64075

We have a patch for this bug as shared here https://github.com/apache/jmeter/pull/467 .

Mr. Phillipe commented that this part is very sensitive and requires non-regression testing.
ref: https://bz.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=64075#c1

I would request to please share the level and scope of the non-regression testing required for this part so that we can fix the bug.
Also if anyone else has encountered same or similar kind of issue please share the details.

Thanks and Regards
Prajjwal Laad
